Learn From Your Mistakes And Don’t Be Afraid To Stumble

Learn from your mistakes and don't be afraid to stumble

We all make a lot of mistakes throughout our lives:  relationships with people who didn’t treat us well, choices that we later regret, whether at work or on a personal level, misplaced words that ended up hurting someone else…

But  the important thing is not just knowing how to learn from each mistake, but making it just a stumbling block,  allowing us to reflect and get back to flying. We must not let ourselves be overcome by discouragement or negative thoughts about ourselves, it is essential to be able to see beyond and give importance to what we really have.

How to learn from your mistakes

Learning from the mistakes we make is tricky because we always tend to do the same in similar situations,  but common sense and logic tell us that if we do the same, the same will always happen.

Have you ever tried to do something radically different? That way you will start to show that you learned from your mistakes and, with intelligence and tenacity, you will fight not to make mistakes again.

There are times when mistakes stem from a lack of coherence between what we dream and the actions we perform.  Maybe our way of life isn’t the way we want it to be, but if we don’t do anything to change it, it will all seem like a mistake and it’s actually a simple lack of coherence. Consequently, analyze your life and see if your goals are in accordance with what you are living.

always think positively

Throughout the day, we punish ourselves with very harsh words, hurting ourselves… “I can’t”, “I’m not capable”, “this is impossible for me”, etc. These are phrases that should be immediately replaced by “I will try”, “I will learn if I make a mistake”, “I will do my best” or “I will not surrender”.

If a person leaves your life, maybe it’s to make room for someone else to make you happier; if you lose a job, you may learn to value yourself and find a job you like best; if your partner has left you, you might be better off enjoying yourself a little in solitude. You didn’t make any mistakes; these are things that needed to happen for you to be able to mature and learn from yourself.

Don’t be paralyzed by failure

It is true that mistakes must be analyzed carefully so that we can understand what caused us to make each mistake, but it is also true that we must not allow a failure to paralyze us. Life is not a straight path, but a path full of holes, curves, mountains and all kinds of obstacles.

take responsibility

When we make mistakes, we tend to look to other people or situations that have nothing to do with us for explanation, but it ‘s important to stop for a moment, reflect, and take responsibility. It is a sign of maturity to accept the consequences of our mistakes and, at the same time, our responsibility for the consequences.

learn to fly

If you learn, if you don’t surrender, if you speak positively about yourself, when you make a mistake you will smile: it will be a simple stumble and you will be able to fly. You’ll fly high into your dreams, into your desires, and you won’t let a single mistake take your breath away or let you down. Bear in mind that success in life, understood in a broad sense, is made up of many trials and many failures, which will be a lesson.

Each one of us must take responsibility for what happens in our lives, and we must also move forward learning with each stumble, just so we will be able to go further and achieve our dreams.
