In Each Book There Is A Sentence Waiting To Be Yours

The book and the people have many things in common, including the fact that they are both infinite. That’s why reading doesn’t just mean passing time; this habit can also help us get to know ourselves through the words of other people.

Reading is a journey that can take us to unknown worlds, even into ourselves:  dare to travel, because the farther away the destination of this journey, the deeper the personality you will reach and the easier it will be for you to away from what hurts you.

The book is infinite, there’s always something to reveal

Borges already said that, he always imagined that paradise would be some kind of library. And it is true that a library is, at the very least, infinite, because in literature there are conquests, history, loves, fantasies, thoughts; but, above all, as many options as pens for writing.

Once we enter a book, its author presents us with the possibility of taking possession of something that was his. It offers us its inner universe so that each reader has the opportunity to get to know it, interpret it and, above all, reinvent it. Sometimes,  in a book, there are phrases that wait for us to be converted into our own: they want to be discovered so that we too can discover ourselves.

The meaning of the word also becomes infinite, because with it we awaken worlds that we could not possibly imagine without the help of a book. So  isn’t it true that sometimes these infinite and unreal universes fervently live within us? We become owners of these worlds, as they make us enter parts of our own that we could not have imagined otherwise.

reading is an inner journey

There are situations in which the sadness is so great that it seems impossible to externalize what we have inside. Julio Cortázar has already said,  “Words never reach when what has to be said overflows the soul” . So it is curious that the words themselves make the illusion come back to us.

These are some phrases that can help us see how full what was empty a short time ago is full,  so we have to be aware of the power that these little giants have in people.

One of the best things about traveling is getting to know the infinity of realities that the world presents to us. Life forms that until recently might have seemed unthinkable to us, or that we hadn’t even thought of, now provoke admiration and even curiosity. The same is true when we read, although on this occasion the most distant journey may lead us to deeper knowledge.

Accepting that in each book there are more difficult paths to walk is also part of life and the solution is not to run away from them, but to walk through them: the  longer it takes, the greater the reward and the more accomplices we will be to ourselves.

You are prepared: change your world, convert it into literature

It’s true that creating imaginary worlds may be easier than changing the real world, but everything around us today certainly had a utopian basis in its origins.

It’s good to believe in the impossible, because maybe someone says we’re capable of making it a reality:  the important thing is not to lose hope in what gives us reason to make sense of it.

We already know that reality is subjective and that with a positive attitude we can shape it for ourselves. That’s why we have to believe in her and chase our dreams, even if they sometimes seem unattainable. Let’s choose these little phrases from the books that mark us and write our story : we already have some ideas, now it’s time to invent new ways to be happy.
